Event Details

Stephen Du Bois launched Camber Capital, a long/short equity hedge fund, in April of 2006.  Camber is focused on the healthcare industry, and invests in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech and healthcare services companies.

 

From 2004 through 2005, Mr. Du Bois was Associate Portfolio Manager at Sonar Capital, a long/short equity hedge fund in Boston .  At Sonar Mr. Du Bois was responsible for managing the healthcare portion of the portfolio, and made successful investments in all sub sectors of healthcare. Mr. Du Bois joined Sonar Capital at its inception in January 2004.   Prior to joining Sonar, Mr. Du Bois was an Analyst at Pangaea Capital from January 2002 until October 2003, a long/short equity hedge fund in Boston , where he ran a team of 2 analysts focused on the healthcare sector.  Mr. Du Bois began his long/short career as an Associate at Ziff Brothers Investments in New York, an internal investment fund for the Ziff family, where he worked from 2000-2002.  At Ziff he focused on investments in the Energy, Telecom and Gaming and Lodging sectors.

 

Mr. Du Bois received his MBA with Distinction from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College where he was a Tuck Scholar in 2000.  He holds a BSE from Princeton University in 1995.
